After a 40 year absence, the USA appeared in the FIFA World Cup finals at Italia 1990. Marcelo Balboa wore this jersey against Italy in Roma's Olympic Stadium. Tony Meola came to prominance in guiding the USA  to the 1990 FIFA World Cup. These are his gloves from that tournament. Debuting in 1988, Jeff Agoos earned 134 appearences for the USA. This was his jersey from the 1993 US Cup  when the Americans upset England. Brad Friedel participated in 3 World Cups for the USA. This is his jersey from the 1997 qualifying matches. Voted 1997 MLS keeper of the year, Friedel is a specialist in saving penalty kicks. He save 2 penalties in one game at the 2002 FIFA World Cup. The UNITED STATES won the silver medal after finishing 2nd to Mexico in the 1993 Concacaf GOLD CUP. One of the most successful and decorated American goalkeepers in history. Kasey Keller  was part of 4 USA World Cup teams. This jersey was worn in the historic shutout of Mexico in 1995. USA Captain John Harkes won the golden boot at the 1995 Copa America. He scored in the 4:0 dismantling of Mexico the 1995 US CUP. This is his jersey from that match. The UNITED STATES won the gold at the 2002 Concacaf GOLD CUP earning their second title. They defeated Costa Rica in the final. German-born American Thomas Dooley went on to appear over 80 times for the USA including as Captain of the 1998 World Cup team. This is one of his jerseys. A 1997 CANADA World Cup Qualifying jersey. Completing a distinguished career in the English League and MLS, Frank Yallop  wore this CANADA jersey for the final match. He went on to Coach the MLS Champions San Jose, Los Angeles and the Canadian National Team. Jamaica has faught with the giants of its region, finally getting recognition when they qualified for the 1998 FIFA World Cup. They did have success in 1993 placing 3rd in the Gold Cup. This is a jersey from that era. MEXICO defeated guest nation Brazil 2:0 in the 1993 GOLD CUP final to win this gold medal.
