Goalkeepers - a different breed
Jeam-Marie Pfaff began his career with K.S.K. Beveren at age 16. He went on to win the Belgian Cup in 1978 and the league in 1979. This was his club jersey from that era before he joined Bayern Munich and became one of Europe's biggest stars. Jean-Marie Pfaff was a star who shined for BELGUIM all through the 1980's. Two FIFA World Cups and two Euro Championships made him a legend. Starting in 1981 Thomas Ravelli played almost 20 seasons. His 143 appearences for Sweden was a record. He enjoyed success as hed led Sweden to 3rd place at 1994 FIFA World Cup. These are his glove from that tournament. Peter Shilton played in a record 1000 league matches in England. He won the League in 1979 with Nottingham Forest wearing this jersey. His Forest club won the European Cup in 1979 and 1980. Peter Shilton began as a 13 year old trainee under the guidence of then England and Leicester City keeper Gordon Banks. He would eventually become the nation's number 1 and appear a record 125 times for ENGLAND. Finishing with 642 appearences for Glasgow Celtic, Pat Bonner kept goal for the Republic of Ireland  in the 1990 and 1994 FIFA World Cup. Although he only played 31 times for HOLLAND, Ed De Goey (De Goeij) starred in the 1994 FIFA World Cup reaching the quarter-finals. This was his team sponsored jersey. In 1997 Ed De Goey became the most expensive goalkeeper in England when he was transfered from Feyenoord Rotterdam to Chelsea. After winning 4 Dutch Cups he triumphed with Chelsea to win three different cups - League, FA and the Uefa Cup Winner's Cup. While setting records for appearences for his club Everton (578) and country WALES (92),  Neville Southall won 2 English League, 2 F.A. Cups and the Uefa Cup Winner's Cup in 1985. U.S. National Team goalkeeper KASEY KELLER has appeared in 102 internationals for his country. David Seamen won 3 League Championships and four F.A. Cups with Arsenal. He played 75 times for ENGLAND and appeared in the 1998 and 2002 FIFA World Cups. Tony Meola played 100 times for the UNITED STATES. He played in two FIFA World Cups. Ranked 1st of all England goalkeepers in goals allowed per minute. Chris Woods wore this jersey against the USA in 1985. His international career stretched from 1984 to 1994. Arguably the most successful club goalkeeper ever to come from the United States, BRAD FRIEDEL has appeared with Brondby, Galatasaray, Columbus Crew, Liverpool, Blackburn Rovers and Aston Villa.
 
This is his # 1 shirt won diring one of his 82 appearences for the USA including the 1998 and 2002 World Cup tournaments. He became the first World Cup goalie to save two penalty kicks in regulation play. Three time USL goalkeeper of the year - Ronnie Pascale has led the Richmond Kickers to three Championships. This was his jersey from the 2007 USL Championship game.
